Just to clear things up a bit...

I'd like to set something straight once and for all. I have a problem with people pronouncing words wrong. It kills me to hear words that are fairly common and heard either in conversation, on commercials or somewhere else pronounced wrong even after hearing it the right way. I'm going to clear up a few brand names that are very often mispronounced...

Audi: This is a latin word for a German car company. In Germany the "Au" is pronounced "Ow", as in Frau (German for Mrs.) or Grau (German for Grey) not "Awe" as in "Audio". This is how it should be pronounced (spelled out phonetically): "Owdee". Say it with me folks: OWDEE. Audi.

Porsche: Yet another German car company always pronounced wrong. It is not pronounced "Porsh", it is pronounced "Pour-shuh". Now you try...Pourshuh. Porsche.

The German language is a very easy language to learn. There are a lot of similarities to English, the words are phonetic, and once you learn the structure and how the arrangements of letters and umlauts are pronounced you'll be able to speak German fluently. It's that easy. Easier than French, Spanish, English, Chinese, Japanese, etc...I don't know why German is dropped from schools. It is a very predominant language in Europe. There are 10+ countries in Europe that speak German. Six of which have it as the official language. It is the most widely spoken official language in Europe. Yet it is the first language to go in American school systems. It's a bunch of crap.

30 day challenge. Day 13...

There you are folks. Pink Floyd. The greatest band ever. Period.
